I felt very honored to open your list of "accomplices"...
I guess although it often seems we are alone in our struggles, especially when someone has to take on the establishment, we are not as alone as it seems.
One more reason to celebrate by good beer and in good company, and an answer to the rhetorical question: "where", will be of course:
