Freaky funny kids- and another expedition

This was forwarded to me by a friend with the caption "Rodney Hubbard's impact on West County Republicans."

Oh my. I am dyin'! This is too much. This really freaks me out. But I laugh.

And on an unrelated note to this post- I made another urban spelunking trip with the Akita for an early Xmas day expedition. His pix are posted up here. Today we hit the underground beneath the Post-Dispatch, beneath what you can see from Interco Plaza. It is a trip. We also made a dash and burn run to a soon to be posted(hopefully) east side spot. This expedition was a trip- the area looks like an abandoned Lower Wacker Drive. The whole street is up on stilts. There were homeless camps, trash, abandoned stacks of books, ratty infrastructure and what looked like stalactites, but what was either icicles or seeping concrete. The area appears to have once been used for an underground streetcar line. If you look at the pix, it is clear that streetcar tracks once ran down underneath Tucker. It was also likely an additional distribution point for the Post, for there are closed up docks in the sub basement. It was a pretty fun trip for early Xmas day.

I will remember to bring my video camera next time. Lessons learned! Always bring your camera along.

Speaking of video- I will be posting up three videos from Saugerties NY, and another three from NYC over the next coupla weeks. I am still practicing my editing, but I figure I need to practice my camera work now. It is all a learning process, so feel free to give constructive criticism to any of my video work.
